An attempted robbery at one of the First Bank branches in Abuja has been foiled following prompt response by the the Nigerian police and military.
A statement signed by the
Group Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications of the bank, Folake Ani-Mumuney, said customers and staff have been rescued unhurt.
According to the statement the robbery suspects have all been arrested.
The bank commended the doggedness and commitment of the security personnel in preventing the robbery.
