GTBank Inefficiency: Customers Express Frustration Over Poor Services as Bank Blames Network Issues

Customers of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) Plc were left in a lurch on Thursday evening as the banking platform experienced hours of service failure across all its portals.

Investigations revealed that the Internet Banking Portal, Mobile Application, and *737# USSD platform were all inaccessible due to alleged service failure.

This situation has left many customers of the bank stranded, with numerous business transactions put on hold.

Despite the allege widespread service outage, the bank has not provided any cogent  explanation for its poor service through its social media channels.

The situation has sparked a wave of reactions on social media.

@lifeofariella humorously commented: “if you’re using gtbank and you’re in a restaurant, just know you’ll wash plate this evening.”

@LyngTerm expressed frustration, saying, “Gtb na so una wan hang me like this? App, online banking, transfer NOTHING IS WORKING!”

@enebi_atuluku pleaded with GTBank, saying, “GTBank please I’m about to wash plate abeg.”

@sparklingoracle reached out to GTBank, questioning the root cause of the ongoing issues and offering assistance.

@Milaghe_ humorously stated, “I can categorically tell you that @gtbank is one of the weapons fashioned against me that won’t prosper.”

@abu_nuel shared a similar sentiment, jokingly warning, “If you’re at the restaurant, get ready for a one day job.”

@KingSolomon217 expressed disappointment with GTBank’s services, questioning the reliability of accessing his money.

Efforts to contact GT Bank’s Customer Service proved unsuccessful at the time of this report.
