AFCON 2021: Nigeria Tackles Tunisia In Knockout Round

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will trade tackles with the Tunisian national team in the second stage of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations involving 16 countries that qualified from the first round..

Nigeria finished at the top of the table in Group D beating Egypt 1-O, Sudan 3-1 and Guinea-Bissau 2-0, leaving runners-up Egypt to face Ivory Coast in the round of 16 teams.

The three times champion will remain in Garoua venue to play Tunisia in the last 16 on Sunday.

In other groupings, Cape Verde will take on Sadio Mane’s Senegal in Bafoussam on January 25, while debutantes, Malawi will meet Morocco on the same day in Yaounde.
