Achievement Recognition: Innocent Eneta Bags African Youth Icon Award
The President, of African Peace and Conflict Management Foundation (APACMF), who is also the publisher of Daily Global Newspaper, Innocent Eneta, has been honoured with the prestigious African Youth Icon Award for his contribution to the society.
He was honoured alongside other high profile delegates across Africa, which include; Nigerians, South Africa, Kenyan, Ghanian, Cameroonian, among others.
The Africa Youth Icon award is an initiative aimed at recognizing Africans who are making efforts in building young people for a better continent. As part of efforts to inspire millions of African Youths to be agents of change, the organization recognizes the efforts of Africans, especially young Africans in building a better society.
The award recognizes individuals in leadership, business, corporate settings, the communities, religious bodies, social spaces and organizations helping to shape the future of Africa by investing in youth development, skill growth, capacity building and advocacy.
The Executive Director of the organization, Olalekan Adeola Odusanya, said the award is quite important and timely as more young men and women need to be motivated to impact their communities.
“The purposes of the award are clear. A major one is the fact that we want to motivate many young people to become committed in helping to transform the continent. We know this award achieve that. We believe that if young people are celebrated like this, it serves as an inspiration to others. Getting more youths involved will make development fast”. Odusanya said.
