Valuable Lessons From The Stairs – By The Nature Nurse

I discovered that almost everything I see has a lesson to teach me be it animate or inanimate. So when I go out, at home or wherever I see an object, or a living thing, I ask myself, what Lesson is there for me?

Leave the person in the picture first and focus on the stairs…

What can do you see?

I see intriguing things with lessons which I will love to share…

LESSON ONE…….

The stairs you take while going up a building is the same stairs you take coming down..

So those stairs are of value even though we step on it with dusty, muddy, wet, dirty foot wears. We just can’t do without it. We need it if we must go up a building or come down from it.. No matter the demeaning role it plays, it is of great value….

Point is, never look down on anyone just because they have nothing, look poor or do menial jobs.  Everyone is valuable.

A person might have nothing materially speaking but if you check well, he or she will have something of value, something – perhaps money cannot buy but you can benefit from.

LESSON TWO…..

The way it is easy to go up the stairs, is the same way it is easy to come down from it.

Nothing Lasts For Ever…

A person who is up today can be down tomorrow

A person who has today can lose everything in splits of seconds. So avoid pride when you think you are up there. Humility pays….

LESSON THREE…

The stairs you left behind on your way up, you will see them on your way down. In fact, you need them if you must get down.

The point is, treat people well as you grow in life, as you walk through “the stairs of life”…

The narratives may change and you will need those people whom you left behind to help you later on. YES! They end up becoming indispensable to you.

LESSON FOUR….

Sometimes as we walk through the stairs, we may miss a step, fall and get hurt. We may hit our foot against the edge of a stair, we may scream, cry, get angry, even curse at the stairs that has no life in it for causing us pain. But after all said and done, we get up, and still use same stairs either up a building or down the building…

Point is, as we walk through the stairs of life, we might get hurt by the same persons that should support us. So what do we do?

Take a LESSON from the Stairs, We need each other whether we like it or not. If not now, it will happen someday…

So when we get hurt by the” stairs” so to speak, by people that should help us, support us, it’s okay to feel hurt, it’s okay to cry if we must,  it’s okay to get angry, One may even react. But after all of this, let us move on together as one

LESSON FIVE…..

As we go up the stairs or down, like I said in Lesson Four, we may miss a step, fall and get hurt. We may scream, and even cry. But after all these we wipe our tears, get up, endure the pain and continue our walk… We do not cut off that foot, we do not even kill ourselves, we do not remain at that spot and say “I’m not leaving this place”, we simply endure the pain and move on and even when we are badly injured, there will be people to help us down the stairs…

Life is not a bed of roses they say… The Stairs of Life is filled with Challenges. We may fall, get injured, but what do we do next?

Never give up, keep enduring, keep pushing, do not remain stagnant, Do not TAKE your LIFE… One way or the other, you will definitely get the help you need.

LESSON SIX…

No matter what we subject the stairs to, even if we step on it countless times daily, even if thousands walk through it daily with dirty foot wears, it still performs it’s Function..

Point is, do not allow the unpleasant, negative, disrespectful actions from others stop you from being that person you are…

Remember, no one is responsible for how you act, you actually choose how to act at a every point in time…

It may not be easy to be that person we should always be, especially if we have been treated wrongly, disrespected, and mocked, etc…

Despite all the setback, take a LESSON from the stairs and continue to be that person you should be.
