The Ogirrua of Irrua Kingdom, Edo State, His Royal Highness W.O. Momodu the 2nd, has extended his warm congratulations to Governor Monday Okpebholo and his Deputy Dennis Idahosa, on their victory at the Edo State Governorship Election Tribunal.
The Ogirrua urged all stakeholders to put aside their political differences and join hands with the government to maintain the current development strides in the state.
He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in driving progress and peace in the communities.
As the Okaijesan of Esan Land, the Ogirrua reaffirmed the traditional chiefs’ commitment to partnering with the state government to promote development, peace, and tranquility.
He also expressed confidence in the governor’s ability to lead the state to greater heights.
The Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja declared Okpebholo the valid winner of the September 2, 2024, election in the state.
This victory has boosted the confidence of the Ogirrua and other stakeholders in the governor’s leadership.
