Re-elected NAAE President Pledges to Collaborate with NAMA Management

The National Association of Air Traffic Engineers (NAAE) has re-elected Engr. Selzing Miri as its president, and he has pledged to strengthen collaboration with the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) management.

This move aims to foster a better working relationship and conducive environment for air traffic engineers.

In his acceptance speech after being sworn in for a second term, Miri emphasized the importance of training and retraining engineers in NAMA.

He also highlighted the need for provision of working tools, facilities upgrade, systems upgrade, and funding.

Miri believes that with a conducive environment, resources, and good working relationship with the management, engineers will be empowered to work beyond expectations.

Miri noted that many hardworking engineers have been limited in their performance due to lack of exposure to training and inadequate facilities.

He acknowledged that his first tenure was a learning process and promised to consolidate on the experience garnered to provide better leadership this time around.

The re-elected NAAE president expressed gratitude to all those who made his second term victory possible, promising never to let them down.

Miri’s re-election is seen as a vote of confidence in his leadership, and his commitment to collaboration with NAMA management is expected to yield positive results for the air traffic engineering community.

Other elected officials include; Salisu Tajudeen Deputy President , Udokwu Davies Tochukwu Vice President Abuja Zone, Abdullahi Nurudeen Vice President Kano Zone, Sonowo Ayodele Olufemi Vice President Lagos Zone.

Others are; Ephraim Abba Vice President PHC Zone, Shuaibu Muhammadu General Secretary, Kilasho Akorede Ibrahim Assist . Gen Sec, Abdullahi Ahmed Wabi Financial Secretary, Yusuf Ibrahim Auyo Treasurer and Evabeta Ohwofasa Omasanjuwa P.R.O

As Miri begins his second term, he faces the challenge of addressing the complex issues facing air traffic engineers in Nigeria.

With his pledge to collaborate with NAMA management, he is poised to make a positive impact on the industry.
