In a strategic move to expand its portfolio and provide members with lucrative investment opportunities, RainydayCoop, a Lagos-based cooperative with global membership, has partnered with Brent Mortgage Bank to acquire Skyfield Apartments.
This 6-storey building, located in Yaba, Lagos, boasts 165 self-contained rooms and ancillary facilities.
The agreement was formally sealed at Brent Mortgage Bank’s headquarters in Lagos, with Adeola Simon, Managing Director of Brent Mortgage Bank, and Olufunso Akinsanya, President of RainydayCoop, signing on behalf of their respective organizations.
This acquisition aligns with Brent Mortgage Bank’s strategy to optimize operational efficiency and drive growth.
RainydayCoop conducted thorough due diligence on Skyfield Apartments, commencing in May, with legal expertise provided by UUBO Law Firm and technical verification by Spacecube Africa.
The partnership between RainydayCoop and Brent Mortgage Bank will facilitate a seamless transition, with the transaction expected to be completed in conjunction with RainydayCoop’s 1st inauguration anniversary.
