Oyo State Government to Issue Appointment Letters to 902 New Civil Servants

The Oyo State Government is set to issue appointment letters to 902 newly recruited graduates into the civil service.

The recruitment exercise, approved by Governor Seyi Makinde, includes University Degree Graduates and Higher National Diploma holders.

The Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe, announced that the collection of appointment letters will take place from Friday, January 24, to Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Successful applicants are expected to collect their letters at designated offices in the Civil Service Commission between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm each day, except Friday, when they are expected to appear between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.

The schedule for collecting appointment letters is as follows:

– Friday, January 24: Administrative Officer, Accountant, Agricultural Officer, and Education Officer cadres

– Monday, January 27: Animal Health Technologist, Assistant Social Welfare Officer, Auditor, Civil Engineer, and other related cadres

– Tuesday, January 28: Higher Executive Officer (Information and Public Relations), Higher Executive Officer (Tourism), Higher Programme Officer, and other related cadres

Aderibigbe congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to be orderly during the collection process. He also warned that collection of appointment letters by proxy will not be allowed.

This recruitment exercise is part of Governor Makinde’s efforts to boost the civil service in Oyo State.

The government has also recently distributed appointment letters to 5,600 newly recruited teachers in the state.
