The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has debunked allegations brought up by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falsna against the management of the Agency.
Falsna, in a national tv programme monitored in Lagos, accused the current NIMASA management, under Dr. Jamoh, of acquiring three properties in London, United Kingdom.
In a statement, NIMASA said there was no truth in the accusation as the Agency has not acquired a single property in any foreign country in the past 30 years.
The statement read in part, “While we respect the views of the learned silk on public matters, NIMASA demands that he takes responsibility and retract this false claim.
“We also use this medium to caution that he and other members of the public should verify their facts before going public with any information.
“The public is hereby advised to disregard the statement by Femi Falana SAN.”
