Adamu Abdulhamid, Nigeria’s Ambassador to the World Trade Organization (WTO), has been elected as the Chairman of the WTO Trade Policy Review Body for the 2024/2025 term.
He assumed this role on April 24, 2024, at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Prior to this appointment, Ambassador Abdulhamid served as the Chairperson of the WTO Trade Facilitation Committee for the 2022/2023 term.
In 2023, he also led the WTO Council for Trade in Goods, overseeing 14 subsidiary bodies for the 2023/2024 period.
