Nigerian Communications Commission Strengthens Ties with Ghana’s NCA

The Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, led a delegation on a benchmarking visit to the National Communications Authority (NCA) in Ghana.

The visit aimed to foster collaboration and share best practices between the two regulatory bodies.

During the visit, Dr. Maida and his team engaged in discussions with the Acting Director General of the NCA, Edmund Fianko, on various issues related to the regulation of the communications industry.

The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange ideas and explore ways to strengthen their partnership.

The NCC delegation sought to gain insights into the regulatory frameworks and practices in Ghana, with a view to improving the commission’s own operations.

The visit also served as a platform for both regulatory bodies to discuss areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration.

The meeting between the NCC and NCA is expected to enhance cooperation and promote the development of the communications industry in both countries.
