The Port and Terminal Multipurpose Limited (PTML) command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that it generated over N150 billion between November 11, 2024, and March 4, 2025.
This significant revenue milestone was achieved through the introduction of the B’Odogwu revenue platform by the Service.
Comptroller Tenny Mankini Daniyan, Customs Area Controller of the command, who disclosed this in an exclusive chat with Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) members in Lagos recently, attributed the success to the wisdom of the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.
The B’Odogwu platform, also known as the Unified Customs Management System (UCMS), was launched on October 23, 2024, to replace the existing NICIS administered by Web Fontaine.

The platform provides the trading public with opportunities to maximize their business potential at the command.
Daniyan noted that aside from initial challenges during the pilot stage, the platform has been running smoothly, generating more revenue for the government.
” The platform we’re using before, Web Fountain, felt threatened so they logged us out over flimsy excuses because they never wanted us to start the new system, however by God’s Grace we persisted and now the baby is growing, running and about to replicate itself at other formations.” Daniyan said.
The PTML command’s revenue generation is a significant boost to the government’s coffers. In comparison, the command generated N257 billion in revenue in 2023, which was 12% higher than the previous year.

The introduction of the B’Odogwu platform is expected to further increase revenue generation and facilitate trade in the country.
