The Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group) and Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) are set to host a special event on Friday, March 7, 2025, to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025.
The event, themed “Accelerate Action for All Women: Rights. Equality. Empowerment,” is part of the global Ring the Bell for Gender Equality campaign.
The celebration, which will take place at NGX Group House in Lagos, will feature a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Hannatu Musa Musawa, Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy.
Female board members of NGX Group and subsidiaries will also lead discussions on gender equality.
Other speakers include representatives from the Securities & Exchange Commission, International Finance Corporation, Coronation Group Limited, and Mastercard, among others.
According to Temi Popoola, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, NGX Group, and Chairman, CSCS, “Our IWD celebration highlights our commitment to partnerships and market innovations that make gender equality fundamental to Nigeria’s economic growth.”
The event aims to convene policymakers, regulators, diplomats, listed companies, SMEs, investors, and civil society organizations to reinforce NGX Group’s role in fostering equitable economic opportunities.
