NDIC Receives Prestigious Regulatory Agency Award

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has been conferred with the Daily Independent Regulatory Agency of the Year 2024 Award.

This prestigious recognition was presented to the NDIC Managing Director/CEO, Bello Hassan, by the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of Daily Independent, Omanufeme Steve, at the NDIC Head Office in Abuja.

The award is a testament to the NDIC’s commitment to ensuring the stability of the Nigerian financial system.

Under Bello Hassan’s leadership, the corporation has made significant strides in fulfilling its mandate as a deposit insurer, risk minimizer, and financial stability promoter.

The NDIC has been at the forefront of promoting public confidence in the banking sector, providing deposit insurance coverage to depositors of all licensed banks, and ensuring the prompt reimbursement of insured deposits in the event of bank failure.
