The 17th Annual Banking and Finance Conference was held on Tuesday at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
The event brought together dignitaries from various sectors, including banking, finance, and government.
In attendance were representatives of presidents from the Federal Republic of Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Nigeria.
Also present were notable figures such as Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Holdings and UBA Group, and Prof. Pius Deji Olanrewaju, President and Chairman of the Council, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Bello Hassan, was also in attendance.
He was part of a group photo with other dignitaries, including Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, and Oliver Alawuba, GMD/CEO of UBA Group and Chairman of the Body of Banks’ CEOs.
The conference provided a platform for discussions on various topics related to banking and finance.

The presence of the NDIC MD/CE, Bello Hassan, highlighted the corporation’s commitment to ensuring stability and security in the banking system.
