The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has commissioned an e-Health project at the State Specialist Hospital in Akure, Ondo State.
The project aims to harness the power of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to improve and revolutionize the health sector in Nigeria.
Dr. Aminu Maida, Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, stated that the project is a testament to the Commission’s commitment to driving innovation, research, and growth in Nigeria’s digital economy.
He emphasized that the integration of ICT solutions into healthcare will enhance the quality of medical services, making them accessible to all, regardless of geographical location.
The e-Health project will streamline medical processes, enhance patient care, and facilitate the efficient management of health records.
