NASENI’s Latest Products Spark High Demand as Dealers Place Orders

The recent introduction of a range of new products by NASENI, developed in partnership with technical experts, has sparked a surge in interest from the public.

Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Khalil Suleiman Halilu, unveiled these products on Thursday, May 9, 2024, including the NASENI 300 Watts LED Solar Street Lamp, NASENI Laptop, NASENI Lithium battery, NASENI solar irrigation pumps, and a NASENI Smartphone.

Following the announcement, NASENI has been inundated with inquiries from potential dealers and the general public regarding the availability of these products.

To address this demand, the Agency has instructed interested parties to email sales@naseni.gov.ng for bulk orders of the NASENI laptop and solar irrigation pump, as well as pre-orders for the other products.

Halilu has emphasized NASENI’s commitment to collaborating with private sector partners to bring high-quality products to the market efficiently.

The agency aims to support partners in enhancing their products and expanding their market reach, rather than competing with them.

NASENI’s long-term vision includes transitioning from Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) assembly to Completely Knocked Down (CKD) assembly, increasing local sourcing of materials, and transferring technology and intellectual property.

The agency will continue to update the public on its progress in this transformative journey, guided by the principles of Collaboration, Creation, and Commercialization.

“As the sole agency of the Federal Government with a technology transfer mandate, NASENI is dedicated to boosting local content sourcing and strengthening technical and production capabilities domestically,” says Halilu.
