Motivational TV: Achievement Channel Gets NBC’s Approval to Operate in Nigeria

By Barnabas Esiet.

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has granted a broadcast license to the Achievement Channel, Nigeria’s first 100% motivational television station.

Founded by Ubong Essien, a Certified Speaking Professional, the channel aims to inspire and empower Nigerians through motivational, educational, and empowering content.

Essien, also known as Mister Motivator, considers the license a mandate to foster a ‘can-do’ spirit across the nation. The channel’s programming promises transformative stories, expert advice, and a community of like-minded achievers.

The launch of the Achievement Channel demonstrates the commitment of patriotic entrepreneurs to empower Nigerians and contribute to the country’s economic growth and development.

After nearly two decades of pursuit, Essien’s dream has finally come to fruition, inspiring Nigerians to chase their dreams, no matter how long the pursuit.

“This is a victory for everyone who believes in the power of dreams. Our programming is designed to turn those dreams into reality, one step at a time, especially during challenging times.” Essien stated.
