Moniepoint, AfriGO Partner to Distribute 5 Million Cards, Drive Tap-to-Pay Solutions

In a bid to enhance digital payment services in Nigeria, Moniepoint Inc has announced a strategic partnership with AfriGO Financial Services Limited (AFSL), a subsidiary of the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS).

The collaboration aims to drive tap-to-pay solutions and accelerate the adoption of AfriGO Card, Nigeria’s National Domestic Card Scheme, nationwide.

Under the partnership, Moniepoint will utilize its extensive reach and robust infrastructure to distribute 5 million AfriGO cards.

The company will also leverage its technological expertise to facilitate the rapid scaling of the AfriGO cards, promoting financial inclusion and digital payment adoption in Nigeria.

The partnership will offer Nigerians a more affordable payment option, ensuring instant transaction settlement through AfriGO.

The collaboration is expected to transform financial service delivery, particularly in underserved areas, by leveraging AfriGO’s innovative payment solutions.
