LG, FPDA Set to Launch Laundry Exhibition Show on May 28, 2024

LG Electronics, a global leader in home appliances, is teaming up with the Fabricare Professionals & Drycleaners Association (FPDA) to launch Nigeria’s first-ever Laundry Exhibition Show called “The Clean Africa Show” on May 28, 2024.

This initiative aims to address environmental issues such as laundry waste management, fabric care, energy conservation, and efficiency.

The two-day event will be held at the Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, and will bring together industry professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and consumers to showcase the latest innovations, technologies, and best practices in laundry care.

Through this collaboration, LG and FPDA seek to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and promote sustainable practices within the laundry sector.

Hyoung Sub Ji, Managing Director of LG Electronics West African operations, expressed excitement about the partnership with FPDA and the opportunity to introduce Nigeria’s inaugural Laundry Exhibition Show.

He highlighted LG’s commitment to empowering consumers with innovative and sustainable laundry solutions, such as Commercial Washing Machines, Heat pump Dryers, Top & Front Load Washers, and Air Conditioners designed for superior performance with reduced energy consumption.

The exhibition will feature interactive exhibits, product demonstrations, educational workshops, panel discussions, keynote presentations, and networking sessions with industry experts and thought leaders.

Topics of discussion will include sustainability, digital transformation, business growth strategies, and the future of laundry care in Nigeria.

Eni Ibukun Adebayo, President of FPDA and CEO of CleanAce Drycleaners, emphasized the significance of the event in bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to exchange insights and showcase advancements in laundry technology and practices.

Dignitaries at the event included representatives from LG Electronics and FPDA, highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving positive change within the Nigerian laundry industry.
