The Lagos State University (LASU) has given the green light to the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to kickstart Postgraduate programs in Entrepreneurship.
This collaboration between LCCI and LASU will offer Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Masters, and Doctorate programs in Entrepreneurship to the public.
According to a statement from LCCI, these programs will equip students with a deep understanding of Entrepreneurship and the necessary management functions required for a successful business venture.
The practical application of management theories will also enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the students.
In August 2022, LCCI and LASU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together in developing programs in entrepreneurial education and other beneficial areas, aiming to boost the SME sector.
The Diploma in Entrepreneurship program commenced in May 2023, with pioneer students now in their second and final year of study.
