The 10th-year anniversary celebration of Primetime Reporters, a leading online news platform, is set to take place on December 4, 2024, at the Welcome Centre & Hotels in Ikeja, Lagos.
The event, themed “Leveraging Technology to Maximize the Potential of Nigeria’s Blue Economy,” will be chaired by Barr. Hassan Bello, former Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC).
Bello, a renowned expert in shipping and maritime law, brings over three decades of experience to the table.
His impressive track record includes formulating and executing strategies that transformed the Nigerian Shippers’ Council into a leading economic regulator of the Nigerian Ports Industry.
During his tenure as Executive Secretary/CEO of the NSC, Bello oversaw the digitalization of port operations, establishment of inland dry ports, river port linkages, and creation of an enabling environment for hinterland connectivity.
He also implemented multi-modal transportation systems and automation processes to optimize port efficiency.
The Managing Director/Editor-in-chief of Primetime Reporters, Augustine Nwadinamuo, expressed his delight in having Bello chair the event.
“By his achievements in both the public and private sectors, Barr. Bello has distinguished himself as a brand that everyone would want to be identified with,” Nwadinamuo said.
Nwadinamuo further stated that Bello’s choice as chairman was deliberate, aiming to send a strong message to guests and stakeholders about the event’s significance.
“We have started reaping the gains of choosing him for this task, as the support we have been getting from our invitees and other stakeholders has been massive,” Nwadinamuo added.
The 10th-year anniversary celebration of Primetime Reporters promises to be an entertaining and educating experience, with Bello’s chairmanship expected to bring immense value to the event.
The ceremony will recognise deserving Nigerians, and the lecture will focus on leveraging technology to maximize the potential of Nigeria’s blue economy.
As Primetime Reporters celebrates a decade of incisive, factual, accurate, and timely reportage, the event is expected to attract industry players, government agencies, operators, and stakeholders from across Nigeria.
The event’s theme, “Leveraging Technology to Maximize the Potential of Nigeria’s Blue Economy,” is particularly relevant, given the country’s vast maritime resources and the need to harness technology to drive economic growth.
The 10th-year anniversary celebration of Primetime Reporters, chaired by Barr. Hassan Bello, promises to be a significant event that will bring together stakeholders from across Nigeria to discuss the potential of the country’s blue economy and the role of technology in driving economic growth.
