Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has praised the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) for its remarkable technological advancements, innovative products, and sectoral interventions.
During a recent visit to the agency, Gbajabiamila commended NASENI’s efforts, highlighting its electric vehicle pick-up van, innovation hub, solar irrigation pump, and various new products.
The visit aimed to familiarize the presidency with NASENI’s mandate, activities, and challenges, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Gbajabiamila expressed satisfaction with the agency’s progress, noting the significant impact of Executive Vice Chairman/CEO Khalil Suleiman Halilu’s leadership since September 2023.
Gbajabiamila emphasized the importance of NASENI in achieving President Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria’s technological advancement, citing the agency’s potential to drive industrial growth and technological independence.
He acknowledged the country’s abundant human resources, praising NASENI’s team for their dedication and passion.
Earlier, Halilu presented NASENI’s innovations, interventions, and partnerships, highlighting the agency’s alignment with the president’s agenda.
