FirstBank of Nigeria Limited has been announced as the official bank partner for the Calabar Entertainment Conference (CEC), a flagship youth engagement program in the creative sector organized by Hit FM, a leading radio station in Cross River State.
The partnership aims to facilitate capacity building, funding, distribution, and thought leadership in the creative industry, which has been in urgent need of interventions, according to Patrick Ugbe, Executive Producer and CEO of Hit FM. The 9th edition of CEC will hold on October 17th and 18th at Hogis Royale in Calabar, Cross River State.

The two-day event will feature keynote addresses, masterclasses, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to inspire and equip participants to maximize opportunities in the creative industry.
The conference will bring together young talents, industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to explore opportunities, tackle challenges, and chart pathways for sustainable growth within Nigeria’s dynamic creative economy.
The partnership is part of FirstBank’s First@Arts initiative, which aims to consolidate support for the creative arts and leverage platforms like CEC to enable stakeholders to explore the wealth of opportunities in the creative industry.
