Fidelity Bank’s Visionary CEO, Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Turns 60

Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, the trailblazing Managing Director and CEO of Fidelity Bank Plc, has reached a milestone birthday, celebrating 60 years of life on July 28, 2024.

Her remarkable achievements in the financial services sector have earned her widespread recognition and respect among her peers.

Under her leadership, Fidelity Bank has achieved impressive growth, with a 131.5% increase in profit before tax to N124.3bn in 2023, and a Return on Average Equity (RoAE) of 26.5%.

Her proactive approach has also led to the successful completion of a N127.10bn rights issue and public offer, making Fidelity Bank the first bank to go public following the Central Bank of Nigeria’s recapitalization directive.

Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe’s commitment to empowering women and creating enabling environments for them to thrive has been a hallmark of her career.
