In a bid to support vulnerable members of its host community, Fidelity Bank Plc has distributed essential food items to over 1,500 residents of Kabuga community in Dala Local Government Area of Kano State.
The outreach, executed in partnership with Misnoory Foundation, is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at alleviating hunger and supporting those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Divisional Head, Brands and Communications, Fidelity Bank Plc, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, the Fidelity Food Bank initiative is designed to drive social welfare in host communities and support the vulnerable.
“We have distributed over 150,000 food packs across the country since the initiative was launched in April 2023,” he stated.
The Founder of Misnoory Foundation, Maryam Isa Inuwa, commended Fidelity Bank’s commitment to poverty alleviation and humanitarian support, noting that the foundation is delighted to partner with the bank in its outreach programs.
Fidelity Bank’s CSR initiatives have consistently demonstrated its dedication to supporting its host communities through impactful projects.
The bank’s efforts have been recognized with multiple local and international awards, solidifying its position as one of Nigeria’s top banks.
