Fidelity Bank Unveils Innovative SME Hub to Boost Entrepreneurship

Fidelity Bank, a leading financial institution, is set to launch a dedicated physical facility for Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs in Nigeria’s creative sector.

The Fidelity SME Hub, located in the heart of Lagos, is designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and capacity-building among SMEs.

The multipurpose facility features training halls, meeting rooms, networking spaces, podcast rooms, and music, photography, and content production studios.

The hub will provide entrepreneurs with access to industry experts and mentors, as well as networking and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

According to Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, “The Fidelity SME Hub is our latest non-financial solution for SME growth.

“We recognize that SMEs require more than just financial assistance, and this facility is designed to provide them with the necessary tools and support to thrive.”

The hub will also feature a creative academy, offering courses in music production, website design and development, mobile videography, and photography.

Additionally, the bank will host dedicated courses on financial management, digital transformation, marketing, and business growth strategies.

Onyeali-Ikpe noted that the Fidelity SME Hub will not only empower small businesses but also contribute to Nigeria’s non-oil exports drive.

“Through our investment in Creativerse, we anticipate that content creators will unlock new revenue streams in entertainment, digital media, and arts,” she said.

Fidelity Bank’s commitment to supporting SMEs has earned it numerous awards, including the Best SME Bank Nigeria 2022 by the Global Banking and Finance Awards.

The bank’s innovative approach to entrepreneurship development is expected to have a significant impact on Nigeria’s SME ecosystem.
