Fidelity Bank Plc has lauded the performance of Air Peace since it began operating flights approximately 10 years ago.
Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank Plc, expressed this commendation at a special event held in Lagos to celebrate Air Peace for the milestone achievement of launching direct flights from Lagos to London.
During the event at the Civic Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, attended by various bank Managing Directors, aviation stakeholders, media personalities, and well-wishers, Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe highlighted Air Peace’s commitment to financial discipline and good corporate governance from its inception. She also noted the airline’s loyalty to the bank as a major client.
Dr. Allen Onyema, the Chairman of Air Peace, shared his gratitude for the support received from the flying public, aviation stakeholders, media, and the government since the airline’s establishment in 2014.
He specifically mentioned the crucial role played by Engr. Ben Adeyileka in helping Air Peace secure its Airline Operator Certificate.
Onyema praised Fidelity Bank for its unwavering support, emphasizing the bank’s contribution to the success of the airline. He emphasized that Air Peace was founded not for profit but to create job opportunities and empower Nigerians economically.
He urged all Nigerians to support Air Peace on the Lagos-London route, which was launched on March 30, 2024, highlighting the importance of sustaining the route for the benefit of thousands of Nigerian jobs and economic growth.
Onyema assured passengers of the airline’s commitment to safety standards and commended the management and staff of Air Peace for their dedication in realizing the dream of flying to London.
