The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, has encouraged women professionals to adopt a mindset of continuous learning, courage, and collaboration to achieve long-term career success and break through professional barriers.
Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe made this call during a Women’s Roundtable hosted by Fidelity Bank at the Fidelity SME Hub in Gbagada, Lagos.
The event was part of the bank’s HerFidelity Proposition, a flagship initiative designed to empower women entrepreneurs and professionals across Nigeria.
Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe explained that HerFidelity was created to provide women with holistic support beyond access to finance, focusing on four key pillars: access to capital, capacity building, wellness for work-life balance, and entrepreneurship support.
During the interactive mentorship session, Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe shared her personal experiences and career insights with participants, advising young women aspiring to leadership to believe in themselves, work hard, and take smart risks.
She also emphasized the importance of seeking out mentors, investing in meaningful relationships, and collaborating with others.
