In a grand ceremony attended by dignitaries from far and near, Dr. Onyema Edward has been conferred with the prestigious Ikemba Aro traditional title by the Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom, His Eminence, Eberechukwu Oji.
The event, organized by Nzuko Arochukwu Worldwide, was a celebration of Dr. Edward’s outstanding contributions to his community, nation, and the global stage.
The royal proclamation was made on November 30, 2024, and the grand celebration took place on December 26, 2024.
Dr. Edward, a distinguished member of the Ndi Ole, Ota Ogboti Family in Amangwu Village, Arochukwu Kingdom, was born into a respected family and raised with values of integrity, discipline, and compassion.

These principles have shaped his extraordinary journey, which has been marked by outstanding academic achievements and a commitment to community service.
Dr. Edward holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and a Master’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
He is a member of the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and has expertise in diverse fields, including electrical engineering, telecommunications, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), renewable energy, and intelligent systems.
Throughout his career, Dr. Edward has demonstrated a commitment to community service, serving in various roles, including as an Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Collation Officer and contributing to various community initiatives.
His dedication to fostering the moral and spiritual development of young people has been evident in his coordination of youth and spiritual organizations, such as Scripture Union and the National Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES).
The conferral of the Ikemba Aro title on Dr. Edward is a testament to his service, excellence, and relentless efforts toward the betterment of society.
The title is a recognition of his outstanding contributions to his community and his commitment to the values of integrity, discipline, and compassion.
In attendance at the ceremony were several dignitaries, including Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom, His Eminence, Eberechukwu Oji; Mazi Engr. Obioha Chikioke; Mazi Udo Chijioke; Mazi Emmanuel Ogbonnaya Azuonwu; Mazi Dr. Jacob Nwosu; and Mazi Dr. Sam Ohuabunwa, OFR.
Others dignitaries in attendance include; Mazi Obasi Lawson (Sobaz) , Mazi Bank Anthony Okroroafor and Mazi Dr. Orji Ogbonnaya Orji.
The event also featured a performance by famous Nigerian musician, Flavor.
The Ikemba Aro title is a prestigious honor that recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their community and society at large.
Dr. Edward’s conferral with this title is a testament to his dedication to community service and his commitment to the values of integrity, discipline, and compassion.
