Delta 2023: Agas Urges Volunteer Groups To Mobilize For PDP LGA Campaign.

By Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq

Deputy Director, Volunteer groups, Delta State Campaign Council Management Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State, Rt Hon Festus Ovie Agas, has appealed to all volunteer groups registered under the Directorate, to mobilize their members and eligible voters for the party’s ongoing LGA to LGA camapigns, which commenced on Wednesday in Patani and Isoko North Local Government Areas.

Agas who made the appeal while speaking to newsmen in Warri recently, noted that the volunteers political family is an integral part of mass mobilization of eligible voters, saying that their contributions in the ongoing campaigns has gone a long way to position the party for a foreseeable landslide victory in 2023, and urged them to do more.

The Deputy Director said the presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, are well positioned to reset and rebuild Nigeria through people oriented policies and programmes as encapsulated in Atiku-Okowa’s agenda titled “My Covenant with Nigerians.”

He noted that Nigeria’s robust economy in 2015 which was handed over to APC  has been mismanaged in the past seven years by President Mohmmadu Buhari administration, which is why all volunteer groups must partner with PDP to rescue Nigeria from the bad governance of APC.

“Our volunteer groups have done pretty well but need to do more as we move round the twenty five local government areas for campaigns. PDP is proud of all the groups mobilizing for her landslide victory in 2023.

“The M.O.R.E agenda of our incoming governor and his running mate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Sir Monday Onyeme, will advance Delta State from where our visionary governor and leader, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, will stop in 2023.

“To achieve this lofty objective, all hands must be on deck in Delta State and across Nigeria to deliver all candidates of PDP on 5/5 basis,” Agas said.
