Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced the commencement of a nationwide fuel distribution initiative, aimed at transforming Nigeria’s fuel distribution landscape.
The refinery will begin distributing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and diesel to marketers, petrol dealers, manufacturers, telecoms firms, aviation, and other large users across the country, with free logistics to boost distribution network.
The refinery has invested in the procurement of 4,000 brand-new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered tankers to enhance distribution network.
Additionally, CNG stations will be established across the country to support the fleet of CNG tankers.
Marketers, petrol dealers, manufacturers, telecoms firms, aviation, and other large users can purchase directly from the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
A credit facility will be offered to those purchasing a minimum of 500,000 litres, allowing them to obtain an additional 500,000 litres on credit for two weeks, under bank guarantee.
This initiative is expected to reduce logistics costs and enhance energy efficiency, increase availability and affordability of fuel, support Nigeria’s economic development and growth, create jobs, and stimulate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The registration process, including Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, will take place from June 16 to August 15, spanning a total of 60 days.
Interested parties can contact the refinery through designated phone numbers and email addresses for enquiries and registration.
The initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reflecting a shared commitment to economic progress, stability, and inclusive development.
The Dangote Refinery’s efforts are expected to drive economic growth, improve fuel access, and strengthen investor confidence in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.
