The Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) has honored Ijeoma Odunoye, Chief Executive Officer of Cutix Plc, with the Most Successful Female Entrepreneur/Excellent Performer award.
The award ceremony took place during the NASME 2025 International Women’s Day/Awards held in Abuja.
NASME National President, Dr. Abdulrashid Yerima, highlighted the organization’s objective to recognize entrepreneurs, ecosystem builders, and development partners for their outstanding contributions to the MSME sector.
He commended Odunoye’s supportive role in developing the sector and expressed hope that she would sustain this momentum.
Odunoye, who is also NASME’s Vice President, South, dedicated the award to Cutix’s board, management, and workforce.
She emphasized the company’s commitment to quality, stating, “For everything you want to do, let quality speak for you.” She attributed Cutix’s success to adhering to industry standards and prioritizing quality.
Cutix Plc, a leading manufacturer and marketer of electrical, automobile, and telecommunication wires and cables, has received numerous awards for product quality, including gold awards from the Standard Organisation of Nigeria since 2003.
The company reported impressive financial growth in 2024, with revenue of ₦12.18 billion, profit before tax of ₦1.62 billion, and profit after tax of ₦1.07 billion, representing year-on-year growth of 32%, 36%, and 35%, respectively.
The event was attended by prominent stakeholders, including Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, who delivered the keynote address.
