Customs CGC Bashir Adeniyi Visits Voice of Nigeria, Pledges Support for Public Awareness

The Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC) Bashir Adewale Adeniyi recently visited the Voice of Nigeria (VON) Corporate Headquarters to pledge his support for public awareness.

The Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Jibrin Baba Ndache, warmly welcomed the CGC and commended his achievements, stating, “The comments about you are filled with joy, and your accomplishments are highly commendable.”

Ndache expressed gratitude for the CGC’s continuous and immense support to VON, acknowledging his commitment and integrity. He praised the CGC’s leadership qualities and experience in public relations.

The CGC, in response, emphasized the importance of open governance and aligning with the administration to promote economic recovery, political stability, and national security.

He highlighted the role of Voice of Nigeria in communicating government policies to the citizens and pledged the Nigeria Customs Service’s support for VON in raising public awareness.

He also mentioned the recent inauguration of the National Single Window project steering committee and stressed the importance of collaboration and partnership between agencies.

The CGC thanked the Director General for the warm reception and expressed his eagerness to collaborate with VON to reach out to border communities and keep them informed about NCS policies and activities.
