- Nestle Nigeria Plc says its revenue grew by 22.6% to N351.8bn in the 2021 financial year compared to the previous year.
According to the latest financial figures announced by the c ompany, gross profit also appreciated by N13.3billion at N132.4bn when compared to the N119.2bn recorded in 2020.
Nestle Nigeria’s Profit After Tax for the year stood at N40.0bn even as the Board has proposed additional dividend of N25.50 per share alongside the N25 per share interim dividend paid o n December 2021, bringing the total amout of dividend per share for the year to N50.50.
The proposed dividend is pending approval during the company’s Annual General Meeting on June 29, 2022.
Speaking on the financial report, the Managing Director/CEO of Nestle Nigeria, Wassim Elhusseini, commended the staff of the organization noting that the splendid result is a testimony of the employees dedication and commitment towards achieving the company’s objectives.
He promised to do more to improve nuitritional value of the company’s products as well as the standard of living of stakeholders.
