The Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria ( CICAN) says it has concluded arrengements to host the “2023 CICAN Workshop and Award ceremony”, with the theme “Tax policy reforms and effects on Nigeria’s business”
CICAN disclosed this in a statement, jointly signed by the body’s National Chairman, Charles Okonji and the Event’s Chairperson, Funmi Adeoye.
The statement, made available to Newsshelve, disclosed that the event will take place at Namdi Azikiwe Hall, 2nd floor, Radisson Blu Hotel, 38 – 40 , Isaac John Street, GRA, Ikeja beginning from 11am, on Tuesday 21st, November 2023.

Tax experts, captains of industries and chief executive officers of many private firms and top manufacturers.
The statement added that the association will confer it’s prestigious crystal excellence award on some captains of industry and some image makers of some organisations who are partners with CICAN.
It will be recall that CICAN at the end of every year usually organised a workshop where top government’s functionaries, manufactures, and bosses of agencies are assembled to discuss topical issues and profer solutions to challenges in the industry and the economy.
Communique will be issued at the end of the programme, which will be sent to relevant governmental institution for implementation .
The statement disclosed that CICAN with it’s over 70 strong membership , who are publishers, editors, correspondents and reporters will use their various broadcast, print and online platforms to deserminate information on the issues discussed and the communique issued at the end of the event.
