The Finance and Business Online Publishers (FiBOP) are gearing up to welcome secondary school students to their 2024 Mid-Year Summit with the theme “Financial Literacy in a Digital Era: Catching Them Young.”
The event is set to take place at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos on Friday, June 14, 2024, starting at 10 am.
The summit aims to boost financial awareness among senior secondary school students in the country, beginning with Lagos State, by providing them with the necessary skills for effective funds management and future financial endeavors.
This summit, tailored to benefit both participating youths and students, will emphasize the importance of saving, investing, and making the most of their funds.
It will also serve as a platform for policymakers and financial experts to discuss the basics of money management and the latest developments in financial education.
Speakers at the event will include Tunde Ahmed Popoola, Group MD/CEO of CRC Credit Bureau, and Dera Nnadi, Controller of TinCan Island Port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, along with various financial experts.
They will share their insights, experiences, and expertise on financial matters, expanding the knowledge of the young participants.
