The visit aimed to address the issue of illicit financial flows from Africa and strengthen collaboration between CoDA and FIRS in combating this challenge.

Executive Director of the Coalition for Dialogue on Africa (CoDA) and Head of the Secretariat of the African Union high-level panel on Stopping Illicit Financial Flows from Africa, Mrs Souad Aden-Osman; chairman of the Inter-Agency Committee on Stopping of Illicit  Financial Flows from Nigeria and chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji, when Aden-Osman visited Adedeji at the Revenue House on Thursday.

 

Mrs. Souad Aden-Osman, Executive Director of CoDA and Head of the Secretariat of the African Union high-level panel on Stopping Illicit Financial Flows from Africa, met with Zacch Adedeji, chairman of the Inter-Agency Committee on Stopping of Illicit Financial Flows from Nigeria and chairman of FIRS, at the Revenue House in Abuja on Thursday.

The friendly tone of the meeting reflected a shared commitment to tackling this issue and promoting economic development in the region.
