The +234 Art Fair, featuring over 100 artists showcasing the best of Nigerian arts, is currently taking place in Lagos until Sunday, March 31st.
The international art exhibition, curated by Soto Gallery in partnership with Ecobank Nigeria Limited and Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), aims to support young emerging Nigerian artists who may not have gallery representation.
The fair, held at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, is dedicated to nurturing and uplifting the art industry in Nigeria.
It provides a platform for emerging artists to showcase their work, encourages art acquisition, and aims to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the local art sector while gaining international recognition.
Ecobank’s decision to host the fair aligns with the Pan African Bank’s commitment to promoting the creative industry in Nigeria and across the African continent.
The bank aims to highlight the talents of Nigerian creatives, provide opportunities for them to showcase their work locally and globally, and support the economic growth and well-being of the country.
“We believe in investing in the potential of our young people for a brighter future for Nigeria. The creative industry plays a crucial role in economic growth, well-being, and global connectivity, and we are committed to supporting and promoting Nigerian artists,” Ecobank stated.
