The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Imo state chapter will be holding her Annual General Meeting/ Leadership Luminary Awards on Thursday 9th December 2021 at Villa Gardens Hotel, New Owerri, Owerri.
A statement signed by Chairman Planning Committee, Okeke Zandas Otigba, said Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, (Aha eji ejemba Ndigbo) and publisher Champion Newspaper will be the distinguished chairmanship of the event.
According to the statement, the theme of the event is: EXPLORING THE TOOL OF STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE IN GOVERNANCE & MANAGEMENT.
The statement read in part: “The Keynote Speaker is Associate Professor of Law at Baze University Abuja, Dr. Sam Amadi, a ‘son of the soil’.
“The highpoints of the Annual General Meeting this year will be the Investiture of Governor Hope Uzodinma as the Patron of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations by the President and Chairman of Council NIPR Mallam Muktar Zubairu Sirajo.
“NIPR Leadership Luminary Award will be conferred on some outstanding governors in Nigeria and they include: H.E., Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, Governor of Ondo state, H.E., Chief Bar. Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers state and H.E., Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Governor of Abia state.
‘Others for the Leadership Luminary Awards are distinguished captains of industry like Dr. Sam Ohuabunwa, Chairman Neimeth PHARMACEUTICALS PLC, Engr. Dr. Michael Arimanwa , Rector Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Rt Hon Barr Uche Onyeagucha SSG Emeritus Imo state, Chief Barr. Dan Iwuanyanwu National Chairman Zenith Labour Party and others.
At the end of the event,the new Executives of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Imo state chapter will be sworn in to pilot the affairs of the Institute for another 3 years.”
