Fidelity Bank to Convene Lagos Entrepreneurs on Sustainable Business Growth

Fidelity Bank Plc is set to bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders and industry experts in Lagos for the latest edition of its Quarterly Business Forum, with a focus on strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of businesses in the state.

The forum, themed “Built to Compete: Positioning Lagos Businesses for Sustainable Growth,” will examine opportunities and challenges confronting businesses in Lagos, with discussions expected to focus on access to finance, market expansion, innovation, digital transformation and sustainable growth.

Speaking ahead of the event, Ugochi E. Osinigwe, Divisional Head, SME Banking, Fidelity Bank Plc, said the forum would provide an opportunity for the bank to engage directly with entrepreneurs and gain deeper insight into their business needs.

“Businesses need more than capital to thrive. They require knowledge, structure, networks and the right strategies to compete and grow sustainably,” Osinigwe said.

She added that the Quarterly Business Forum was designed to enable entrepreneurs to learn from experienced business leaders, exchange ideas and identify practical strategies for strengthening their businesses.

The forum is part of Fidelity Bank’s broader SME support initiatives, which include masterclasses and advisory programmes covering areas such as pricing, digital growth, business structuring, trade and market expansion.

According to the bank, the Quarterly Business Forum serves as a strategic engagement platform connecting entrepreneurs with business leaders, policymakers and industry experts to share practical insights on growth, innovation and sustainability.

Fidelity Bank said its support for small and medium-sized enterprises extends beyond financing to include capacity building, advisory services and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

The bank currently serves more than 10 million customers through digital banking channels and 255 business offices in Nigeria, as well as its United Kingdom subsidiary, FidBank UK Limited.
