The family of Frank Ukim of Uyo Clan in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has announced the passing of their matriarch, Mrs. Arit Frank Ukim, who died on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Mrs. Ukim, described by family members as a devoted Christian and community figure, was a longstanding member of the Quo Iboe Church Nigeria.
She was actively involved in the church’s women’s fellowship and other activities, earning respect within the congregation for her commitment to faith and service.
Relatives said she was known for her humility, compassion and strength of character, noting that she played a central role in nurturing her children and grandchildren and instilling in them values of discipline, love and spiritual devotion.
According to funeral arrangements released by the family, burial rites will take place at St. George’s Primary School, Aka Junction, Uyo. She will be laid to rest at her husband’s residence, No. 6 Kelvin Lane, Uyo, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Her death has attracted tributes from family members, friends and church associates, who remember her as a devoted mother, grandmother and committed Christian whose life was marked by service and grace.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren.
