Fidelity Bank Distributes Food Items to Disadvantaged Communities in Ondo State

Fidelity Bank Plc has distributed food items to residents of Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas of Ondo State as part of its commitment to improving lives and supporting communities.

The donation event took place at Igbokoda, the headquarters of Ilaje Local Government Area.

The Regional Bank Head, Southwest 1, Fidelity Bank Plc, Folaranmi Jemirin, stated that the Fidelity Food Bank initiative was launched to reduce hunger and provide relief for disadvantaged communities across Nigeria.

He expressed hope that the donation would bring much-needed relief and comfort to the beneficiaries.

The Vice Chairman of Ilaje Local Government Area, Olurantimi Esejuwon, praised Fidelity Bank for its generosity, particularly towards the aged and people living with disabilities.

One of the beneficiaries, Ikudehinbu Ademola, also expressed gratitude on behalf of the communities, appealing to the bank to consider establishing a branch in Ilaje.

The Chairman of Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Biyi Poroye, lauded Fidelity Bank for its generosity and encouraged the bank to establish a branch in Ilaje Local Government, citing the region’s vast economic potential.

The Fidelity Food Bank distribution in Ondo State is part of the bank’s ongoing outreaches to make a difference in the lives of Nigerians.

Previously, the bank provided essential supplies to over 2,000 residents in multiple locations across Anambra State, reinforcing its mission of fostering sustainable impact in communities nationwide.
