The company disclosed this following the approval of its unaudited financial statements by its Board of Directors.
Its revenue rose from N119.25 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2025, while gross profit increased by 32 per cent to N36.50 billion from N27.75 billion.
Profit for the period also grew by five per cent to N10.14 billion, compared with N9.68 billion recorded in the same period last year.

Commenting on the results, the Managing Director of Cadbury Nigeria, Ayman Fahmy Gaafar, said the company sustained growth despite the challenging operating environment in the country.
He said the company would continue to strengthen its operational capabilities and cost management measures to achieve its business objectives and deliver greater value to stakeholders.
“We are also continuously innovating to meet the needs of the Nigerian consumer,” Gaafar said.
Board Changes
The financial performance comes amid changes in the company’s board leadership.
In August 2026, Cadbury Nigeria announced the appointment of Dr. ‘Doyin Salami as its new chairman, following the resignation of Adedotun Sulaiman.
The company also appointed Uwa Osa-Oboh as an independent non-executive director.
Salami previously served as Chief Economic Adviser to former President Muhammadu Buhari and chairman of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council. He has also chaired the boards of several companies.
Osa-Oboh is the Head of Corporate Development at Capital Alliance Nigeria, a member of the African Capital Alliance Group, an investment management firm.
Wins Three CIPM HR Awards
Meanwhile, Cadbury Nigeria emerged as a leading winner at the 2026 CIPM HR OSCARS held recently in Abuja, securing awards in three categories.
The company won in Talent Acquisition, Adoption of Technology, and Employee Engagement and Internal Communication, where it achieved a perfect score of 100 per cent.
The awards are organised by CIPM as part of its annual International Conference and Exhibition, one of the largest gatherings of human resources professionals in Africa.
The initiative recognises organisations demonstrating excellence in people management and workplace practices.
According to the company, the recognition provides independent validation of its human resources practices and demonstrates how its people management strategies support business performance, organisational culture and employee experience.
The statement was issued by Frederick Mordi, Head of Corporate Communications and Government Affairs at Cadbury Nigeria.
Cadbury Nigeria Plc is a publicly quoted company and a subsidiary of Mondelēz International, which holds a 79.39 per cent stake in the Nigerian firm. The remaining 20.61 per cent is held by indigenous individual and institutional investors.
The company’s product portfolio includes Bournvita, Cadbury Hot Chocolate 3 in 1, TomTom, Buttermint and Clorets.
