Comptroller Frank Onyeka, Customs Area Controller of the Tincan Island Port Command, has emphasized the importance of prioritizing national security and reinforcing collaboration among all security agencies in Nigeria.
During a meeting with Navy Captain Omotayo Busuyi Oyeleye, Commanding Officer of the Nigerian Navy Forward Operating Base Badagry, Onyeka noted that effective collaboration is crucial in deterring criminal elements and promoting national development.
The Customs Area Controller praised the Nigerian Navy’s efforts in providing maritime security against sea robberies and acknowledged the importance of joint patrols between the Navy and the Nigeria Customs Service.
In a separate development, Onyeka paid a familiarization visit to the Controllers of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Services (NAQS) at the PTML and Tincan Island Commands.
He reassured the agency of continued collaboration and expressed his commitment to integrating the Quarantine Service into the Command’s activities for better synergy.
Onyeka’s efforts to strengthen ties with sister agencies align with his commitment to prioritizing national security and promoting effective collaboration among all stakeholders.
