Africa Finance Corporation Partners with +234Art Fair to Empower African Youth

The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has announced its support for the +234Art Fair, a five-day international art exhibition showcasing the works of over 260 emerging and un-galleried artists.

This partnership aligns with AFC’s commitment to empowering and elevating Africa’s youthful population, promoting job creation, skills development, and rapid economic growth.

The +234Art Fair, titled “Championing Patronage in Nigerian Art,” will take place from March 27th to March 31st at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event will feature a wide range of artistic expressions, including painting, sculpture, visual and digital art, installations, and more.

Samaila Zubairu, President & CEO of AFC, stated, “The +234Art Fair aligns with AFC’s advocacy strategy of empowering and elevating Africa’s youthful population… We are proud to continue our collaboration with Ecobank to help drive Africa’s creative industry forward.”

The +234 Art Fair aims to promote African art and artists locally and globally, providing a platform for emerging artists to showcase their work to key decision-makers, influencers, and a global audience.

The event is expected to draw a diverse group of attendees, including art enthusiasts, government officials, policymakers, diplomats, and global art lovers.
