Creative Art Exhibition: Ecobank Nigeria Set to Host Third Edition of ‘Adire Lagos Experience’

Ecobank Nigeria is gearing up to host the third edition of the ‘Adire Lagos Experience’. The four-day exhibition will be held at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) on Victoria Island, Lagos from Thursday, June 14th to Sunday, June 17th, 2024.

Adeola Ogunyemi, Head of Consumer Banking, announced the program in Lagos, stating that the exhibition will showcase authentic Adire fabric displays from over 100 diverse merchants, along with indigenous cuisine and African entertainment.

Attendees can also look forward to a series of masterclasses and networking opportunities with entrepreneurs, shoppers, and Adire enthusiasts.

“We are excited by the success of the previous editions of the ‘Adire Lagos Experience’ and are committed to making this year’s edition even bigger and better,” Ogunyemi said.

The exhibition aligns with Ecobank’s brand promise as a pan-African financial institution to promote culture and boost tourism on the continent.

High-profile exhibitors, vendors, expatriates, influencers, and dignitaries from around the world have expressed interest in participating in the event.

Ogunyemi extended an invitation to Nigerians, diasporans residing in Nigeria, and members of the diplomatic corps to attend the four-day event.

The exhibition reflects Ecobank’s dedication to creating enriching experiences that resonate with customers’ lifestyles while celebrating the diversity of Nigeria’s culture.

The event will provide a cozy and serene ambiance for participants to feel comfortable and safe. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring family and friends to experience the beauty of Adire.

Top government officials from Lagos, Ogun, and neighboring states, as well as stakeholders in the Adire business, are expected to attend the event.

Ecobank Nigeria, a key supporter of tourism, culture, and the creative industries in Nigeria, has previously hosted events such as the +234Art fair, Photography, Art, and Design Exhibition (PADE), and partnerships with artists like Cobhams Asuquo and events like Redbull Dance Your Style.

The upcoming ‘Adire Lagos Experience’ promises to be a vibrant celebration of Nigerian culture and creativity, showcasing the beauty and richness of Adire fabric to a diverse audience.
