Comptroller Ahmadu Bello Shuaibu has officially taken the helm of the Federal Operations Unit Zone ‘B’ Kaduna from Comptroller Dalha Wada Chedi in a vibrant transition ceremony held at the Unit’s Headquarters in Kaduna.
In his address, Comptroller Wada Chedi expressed his appreciation to the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale, for the opportunity to lead the Unit.
He also thanked the Officers and Men of the Unit for their steadfast support and dedication, urging them to offer the same level of support to Comptroller Shuaibu.
Comptroller Shuaibu, in his remarks, thanked God for the privilege of leading the Unit and expressed gratitude to the CGC and his management team for their backing.
He commended his predecessor for his accomplishments and stressed the significance of collaboration among security agencies and the media in achieving the NCS’s objectives.
The new Unit Comptroller underscored the importance of discipline, focus, and professionalism among the Officers and Men of the Unit in carrying out their duties.
The transition ceremony was attended by various stakeholders, including the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kaduna State, the Commandant of the Nigeria Police College, Kaduna, and other dignitaries.
They lauded Comptroller Wada’s dedication and wished him success in his new role.
As Comptroller Shuaibu assumes command, the FOU Zone ‘B’ is poised to uphold its commitment to safeguarding national interests and fostering collaboration for a brighter future.
Comptroller Shuaibu, the former Area Controller of Ogun 1 Area Command, Idi-Iroko, now leads the Unit, while Comptroller Wada has been redeployed to NCS Headquarters, Abuja, as the Comptroller of Enforcement.
