Nigeria’s Trending News Channel ‘ARISE’ Goes Live in South Africa, Angola and 8 Other Countries

Nigeria’s private news channel, ARISE News, has officially launched in South Africa, Angola, and eight other countries in Southern Africa.

The channel can now be accessed on Multichoice/DSTV Channel 416 in countries such as Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

In a statement released by the Chief of Staff to the Chairman/Editor-in-Chief, Fauziya Ali Mohammed, it was announced that ARISE News Channel is now live in a total of 54 African countries.

The channel is already available in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Cameroon, Sudan, Ghana, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, and Francophone Africa.

ARISE News Channel, which recently celebrated its 11th anniversary, is known for its Emmy-winning content that covers a wide range of topics including business, politics, technology, commerce, science, sports, show business, and fashion.

The channel aims to showcase the best of Africa and its diverse cultures to a global audience.

Chairman/Editor-in-Chief, Nduka Obaigbena, expressed his commitment to launching ARISE News Channel in all countries worldwide.

He emphasized the channel’s dedication to promoting the African narrative and highlighting the continent’s potential as a leading economic force in the future.

ARISE News Channel operates 24 hours a day from studios in Lagos, Abuja, Johannesburg, Cape Town, London, and New York.

The channel can also be accessed in the UK, Europe, USA, and the Middle East through various platforms such as Sky, Freeview, Centric Channel, and Hot Bird.

Viewers around the world can also stream ARISE News Channel through the ARISE Play platform.

The channel’s expansion into Southern Africa marks a significant milestone in its mission to become a leading broadcaster in Africa and beyond.
